Matthew Moore

Matthew Moore is currently an Associate Professor of Photography and the Chair of Visual Arts & Humanities at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland. He received a BFA degree in photography from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan in 2000 and an MFA degree in photography from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009. He was an artist-in-residence in 2014 at Lithuania’s Vilnius Academy of Arts’ Nida Art Colony and in 2016 at the Joshua Tree Highlands Artist in Residence Program in Joshua Tree, CA. Some of his other career highlights include a solo exhibition at the Arlington Art Center in Virginia in 2014 and a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award in 2015. In September 2017 his work was featured at the Kaunas Photography Festival in Kaunas, Lithuania.
